NEW YORK (AP) -- Shares of agricultural chemical companies mostly rose on Monday, and some set new all-time highs, bucking the overall market trend.
The broader markets declined after the opening bell, as Bank of America Corp.'s weaker-than-expected earnings report unnerved investors and raised worries about the health of corporate earnings.
But agricultural chemical companies fared better Monday morning:
Monsanto Co., up 15 cents to $52.17.
DuPont Co., up 15 cents to $52.18.
Dow Chemical Co., down 20 cents to $39.78.
Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan Inc., up $3.53 to $208.21, and set an all-time high of $209.66.
Mosaic Co., up $3.14, or 2.4 percent, to $138.61, and set an all-time high of $139.10.
Agrium Inc., up $1.76, or 2 percent, to $89.75, and set an all-time high of $90.47.
